Remember in Tyler Perry’s “The Family That Preys” when Alfre Woodard’s character is revealed to have a millions-worth stock in a company? Her daughter says, “Mama! You ain’t tell us you was a millionaire!”
And Woodard’s character responds, “You ain’t ask!”
Well, shoot Ms. Woodard - you ain’t tell us you had such amazing taste in architecture! The actress just listed her stunning Santa Monica home for $2.7 million, according to SFGate.
The Charles Ward-designed four-bed, three-bath mini-mansion was built in 1992 just blocks away from the beach on a quaint corner plot. The listing describes the home as exhibiting Mediterranean port town-vibes with its sandy, concrete walls and minimalistic design.
With the classy accents of French doors, open kitchen and dimly lit ambiance, the home will transport you straight into vacation mode. Take a look for yourself...
A Dope Overhead Shot
For a corner plot, this is a pretty decent house-to-yard ratio.
Exterior from Corner
You’d probably walk past without a clue of how beautiful the inside is.
Yard Close-Up
I’d feel like I’m walking through a botanical garden. Imagine the plants around springtime.
Interior of Yard
And here you have where your first-time guests will take all their pictures. Super zen.
Stunning Entrance
What a warm welcome to paradise.
Dining Area
Natural light from every exit and entrance.
Artistic Living Space
You see living rooms like this in a movie.
Rustic Kitchen
Clean and neat. All it’s missing (for me) is a nice high top table.
Quaint Corner
Look at that paint work. I don’t even know what this area is for but it looks good.
Vanity Area
Doing your makeup with perfect access to step outside for those golden hour pictures? Yes, please.
Bathroom
Who else is a sucker for a free standing tub? Also, check out the details on that cabinet.
Bedroom
An artist would eat this up. Also, the bench on the wall is handy when you need to sit somewhere with your outside clothes.
Aerial View
Look at the water! A nice stroll through the neighborhood will get you right to the beach.
