Ryan Gosling is still just Ken — and his two daughters are loving every minute of it. The actor, who received an Oscar nomination for playing the dopey, horse-loving, Mojo Dojo Casa House-dwelling doll in Greta Gerwig's 2023 film, appeared on Jimmy Fallon's talk show Thursday night and opened up about how his two daughters, Amada, 9, and Esmeralda, 7, feel about his Kenergy.

Gosling explained that his daughters were there to watch him film his musical number in Barbie. "They were on the film, and they came to set when I filmed the number," he said, explaining that up until then, they hadn't really understood what was going on.

"You know, it's just like a lot of fake tan stains around the house," he said. "I wanted them to come to the dress rehearsal just to give it some kind of context for what had been going on."

Apparently, the girls quickly found some Kenergy of their own and helped their dad. "They knew all the choreography better than I do," he said, adding, "Oh, my god, they're backstage kind of like showing me." In fact, Gosling even described his performance in Barbie as a "team effort" with his daughters.

So, when it came time for Gosling to perform the number again live on stage at the Oscars, what was their response? "Dad's kenning again," Gosling said. Of course, they continued bringing tips and notes to the Oscars set, too!

Although Gosling's turn as Ken might have been a group effort with his daughters, he hasn't allowed the girls to actually watch the final product yet. “I don’t know if you should watch your father as Ken," he said during an interview with E! News. "I don’t know what age is a good age to see your father do that. It gets pretty crazy.”
