Kansas City man dies days after shooting
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police are investigating the death of a man three-days after he suffered critical injuries.
Officers responded to a shooting near E. 18th and Hardesty Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Friday.
They found 38-year-old Pablo Rodriguez inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot injuries. Paramedics transported Rodriguez to the hospital. Police said he died of his injuries Sunday.
Homicide detectives said a preliminary investigation indicated Rodriguez got into an argument with one or more people. The argument escalated and someone shot Rodriguez.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call homicide detectives at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline anonymously at 816-474-TIPS. There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest that is submitted through the TIPS Hotline.
The department also reminds witnesses that funding for temporary, or even permanent relocation, may be available but is subject to pre-approval by the State’s administering agency.
