H&E Equipment Services, a Baton Rouge-based company that rents heavy equipment, said it has reached a deal to acquire Lewistown Rental.
Terms of the deal with the Lewistown, Montana-based company were not disclosed. Lewistown has three rental offices in Montana. The deal is set to close in the second quarter.
This is the latest in a string of acquisitions for the firm. In January, H&E completed the acquisition of Precision Rentals, which has branches in Phoenix and Aurora, Colorado.
Precision has a rental fleet with an original equipment cost of $28.5 million. After the deal closes H&E will have 145 locations in 30 states.
