NORTON — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two masked, knife-wielding men who robbed a local store on Tuesday night.
Police responded to Michelle’s Corner Store at 325 West Main St. (Route 123) at about 8:40 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery.
“The store clerk reported that two white males entered the store wielding large knives, demanding cash from the clerk,” Deputy Police Chief Todd Jackson said Wednesday.
One man was described as wearing black sweatpants, black sneakers with white soles, and a blue hooded sweatshirt.
The other was wearing camouflage-style pants with a gray hooded sweatshirt and black backpack. Both had on half-face masks.
The two suspects fled the store on foot with cigarettes and a small amount of cash, Jackson said.
No one was injured in the incident.
