UPDATE: Children missing in Amber Alert from Montgomery found safe in Selma

UPDATE April 16, 10:45 p.m.: The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has canceled the Amber Alert, as both children were found unharmed in Selma.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the vehicle the children were traveling in has been recovered, but the children have not yet been located.

An Amber Alert has been called Tuesday on a 5-year-old boy and the 13-year-old girl believed to have taken him.

The duo has been missing since around 9 p.m. April 15 and were last seen in the area of Gibbs Village in Montgomery, according to the Amber Alert that went out around 2:30 p.m. April 16. The alert does not mention their relationship.

Kaiden Tymari Perryman, 5, is believed to have been abducted by 13-year-old Janayizha Qynterrica Gunn and the pair may be traveling in a white 2011 Chevrolet Equinox with the Alabama tag “6357BL5.”

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency sent out an emergency missing child alert for both children just before 10 a.m.
