An Ohio man is facing drug charges after authorities say he had 100 pounds of cannabis in his vehicle.

The LaSalle County Sheriff's Office says deputies conducted a traffic stop on 60-year-old James B. Redmond of Rocky River, Ohio on Sunday on I-80 near Ottawa.

The sheriff's office says deputies located and seized 100 pounds of suspected cannabis from his vehicle.

Redmond is charged with felony trafficking of cannabis and possession of cannabis. He was taken to the LaSalle County Jail in Ottawa.
