Asda shoppers empty shelves of ‘bargain’ PS5 and Xbox games scanning for as little as £2.50

GAMERS have spotted a huge bargain at their local Asda store with big name titles on PS5 and Xbox titles selling for as little as £2.50.

A shopper at an Asda in Leicestershire saw the clearance and others are now checking if their nearest store has any.

"No idea if they have more copies of any of the games in the back as the stand was practically full which little space for more," the player wrote on HotUKDeals.

"Clearance Games stand is next to the normal games section has various offers..."

The cheapest of the bunch was Halo Infinite on Xbox Series X for only £2.50.

"Halo for £2.50 is a bargain," another user reacted.

Buying the title from other retailers right now costs upward of £35.

Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is also going cheap at £8.50 on Xbox - compared to around £15 elsewhere.

Meanwhile, PS5 owners can bag Star Wars: Jedi Survivor for £15, saving £10 versus other shops selling the game currently.

One bargain hunter said: "I got Jedi: Survivor on Sunday for £25 that's a bargain from Asda."

And there were some Nintendo Switch games included too.

It's not clear whether the clearance sale is limited to one store or running at various locations.

Don't forget, some PS4 games can be upgraded to PS5 for free via a simple download.

Resident Evil 4 offers a free upgrade, but God of War: Ragnorok is charged.
