Teenager from Shreveport pleads guilty to raping two underage children

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - An 18-year-old from Shreveport has pleaded guilty to raping two children.

The Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office says Kyson Lee, 18, pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree rape in Caddo District Court on Thursday, April 11.

The two victims, who were 8 and 5 at the time of the assaults, reported the crime to their grandma. An investigation revealed Lee sexually assaulted the kids multiple times.

During an interview after his arrest, the DA’s office says Lee confessed and wrote an apology letter to the two victims. Lee was sentenced to 40 years in prison without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. Lee must also register as a sex offender for life.
