Pell City’s Joey Stevens won the runoff election April 16, 2024, to be the next District 3 commissioner in St. Clair County.

Local attorney Joey Stevens has won the St. Clair County District 3 Commission seat, defeating incumbent Tommy Bowers in Tuesday’s Republican runoff election.

Stevens is the outright winner of the seat, since no Democrats ran in any of the local races in the predominantly Republican county.
