Adore Beauty set to sell ‘tbh Skincare’ products

Beauty brand tbh Skincare is officially being stocked by retailer Adore Beauty. Consumers will be able to purchase the brand from Adore Beauty from April 12, 2024.

The announcement:

Cult Australian beauty brand tbh Skincare has scored another major milestone and will now be stocked on Australia’s number one pure play beauty retailer Adore Beauty from Friday April 12th 2024.

It’s a formidable feat for the brand considering it only launched in March 2020 with the aim of destigmatising acne and disrupting a highly clinical category with scientifically proven skincare that was fun to use too. In just 4 short years the brand has grown from strength to strength with their hero product – the acne hack spot treatment, selling every once every four minutes nationally.

The latest announcement comes just months after a series of huge moves for the brand with Adore Beauty being the 3rd stockist of tbh Skincare in just under 12 months, with further discussions in play. Adore Beauty, Australia’s largest premium beauty e-tailer, is famously selective on products they stock and have a rigorous induction process – a true testament to the quality of tbh Skincare.

The new partnership enables consumers in both Australia and New Zealand to shop tbh Skincare with ease and allows tbh reach a wider market, something which is incredibly important to co-founder Rachael Wilde.

“We have been in discussions with Adore Beauty for a number of months and we couldn’t be more excited. When we started this brand we just wanted to get it into as many people’s hands as possible so we could help people who needed our product most.

We are really excited to be partnering with Adore Beauty to build out their offering to the tween and teen category. There’s a lot of hype around skincare for tweens without a lot of understanding for what is actually good for their young skin. We want to partner with Adore Beauty in building out this education and product offering, making sure the younger generation are opting for products that aren’t just trending, but actually good for their skin as well.” says co-founder Rachael Wilde.

The new partnership also fulfils Adore Beauty’s mission to support Australian beauty brands and fills a gap in their expansive skincare portfolio in particular for their tweens and teens offering.

“Over 64% of our Adore Beauty’s customer base are Australian women aged 20-40, with 37% aged 30-40, therefore there is a large pool of active customers who themselves have teen children. Bringing on tbh Skincare will allow us to offer what we promise – an all in one online shop for the whole family. We are thrilled to welcome tbh Skincare to our portfolio and cannot wait to see it lead the way in our new category offering.” Says Kristy Shea – senior category manager at Adore Beauty

While it’s clearly been an enormous three years since launch for tbh Skincare, this latest news is one more step towards Rachael and the team’s goal to make its products available to as many as possible.
