A publisher’s slip-up revealed that House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) is hawking a book about his effort to impeach President Joe Biden, according to a new report.

Axios first reported publisher Harper Collins posted a link advertising a possible tell-all that Comer is pitching.

The Kentucky Republican ordered the link be removed immediately, his office told the news outlet.

“The link was put up in error by Harper Collins,” the congressman's spokesman said. “It was not authorized by Congressman Comer and he immediately requested it be taken down.”

The accidental post on Harper Collins’ website showed a placeholder cover for the book with the title “All the President’s Money,” wrote Axios.

The page was still up on the publisher's website as of Saturday, despite Comer’s request that it be removed. The notice says the book is scheduled to be released in September this year and will come with a $29.99 price tag.

But Comer’s spokesman said no deal had actually been inked.

“Although he has been in discussion with Harper Collins about a potential book, he has not entered into a publishing agreement with any publisher, including Harper Collins," he said.

Comer and the GOP have been leading an inquiry into Biden's supposed business deals with Ukraine for several months, alleging that the president has been involved with accepting bribes and hid his activities through his son, Hunter Biden, who was on the board of the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma.

The investigation is widely considered a dud, with even some Republicans saying it has failed to turn up any evidence and should be tossed. The GOP, however, has vowed to push ahead with it.

Most recently, a key witness who testified that the Bidens were involved in accepting bribes was arrested and accused of lying to the FBI. The Department of Justice claims the man, Alexander Smirnov, was involved with Russian intelligence.
