Arkansas baseball vs. Arkansas State score updates: Hogs crush Red Wolves in midweek action

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas baseball hasn't lost a home game since opening weekend, and the latest challenge to a 17-game winning streak comes against an in-state rival.

The top-ranked Razorbacks (23-3) will host Arkansas State (16-14) Tuesday night in midweek action. The Hogs are coming off an emphatic sweep over LSU, beginning 8-1 in the SEC for the first time since 2009. That Arkansas team made it all the way to Omaha.

The Red Wolves are coming off a series loss to Georgia Southern. They had to win the final game of the weekend to avoid a sweep, and Arkansas State is now 3-6 in the Sun Belt.

The Razorbacks are unbeaten in midweek action this season, and Tuesday's rivalry bout with the Red Wolves comes before another home SEC series against Ole Miss. Arkansas will start freshman Colin Fisher (4-1, 2.50 ERA) on the mound against Arkansas State.
