NJ hospitals staffing is in crisis | Opinion

In 2024, unionized health care workers, including more than half the members at HPAE locals across New Jersey, will go to bargaining tables to negotiate expiring contracts with their employers.

This year, Health Professionals and Allied Employees will negotiate contracts in six separate locals, representing 7,000 members in hospitals from Bergen County down though Camden County. Safe staffing has been and will continue to be the top priority of every one of these negotiations.
