April is Autism Acceptance Month. Checks are being written all around the state for the cause.
A $45,000 check was just presented at the ShopRite in Old Bridge. The owners of the store, the Sumas family, made a generous donation to Autism Speaks.
They also had a table set up, selling salads made at the Three Meadows Farm in Bedminster. The people who grow the produce there and harvest the fields are young adults with autism.
Paradise Salad is now being sold at ShopRite stores around New Jersey.
