A SEMI THAT OVERTURNED ON THE KILPATRICK TURNPIKE IS NOW OFF THE ROAD, BUT IT WILL TAKE A WHILE BEFORE IT’S RIGHT SIDE UP. KOCO SERGEANT GOODSON JOINS US WITH A LOOK AT WHAT’S NEXT. KYLIE AND ALEJANDRA. GOOD MORNING. RIGHT NOW CREWS HERE ON SCENE TELL ME THEY’RE ACTUALLY WORKING TO UNLOAD THOUSANDS OF POUNDS OF WATER BOTTLES AND LAUNDRY DETERGENT OUT OF THIS SEMI TRUCK. AND THEY SAY EVEN ONCE THE TRUCK IS EMPTY, THEY WILL LIKELY BE HERE UNTIL LATER THIS EVENING. THE CRASH HAPPENING AROUND 3:00 THIS MORNING, LEAVING A SEMI LAYING ON ITS SIDE, THE CRASH LEAVING THE TURNPIKE SHUT DOWN TO ONE LANE FOR OVER THREE HOURS, BUT IT HAS BEEN REOPENED FOR THE REST OF YOUR MORNING DRIVE. THE OKLAHOMA HIGHWAY PATROL TELLS US THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT NO ONE WAS HURT, AND THEY ARE STILL LOOKING INTO WHAT MIGHT HAVE CAUSED THE CRASH.
