Auburn Is Giving Chase To 5-Star Receiver

After Auburn brought in a tremendous 2024 recruiting class with receiver Cam Coleman headlining the list, Hugh Freeze and his staff are going all-in to bolster the depth chart even more.

According to On3's Chad Simmons, Auburn is in pursuit of a talented prospect committed to another college football program.

"5-star WR commit Dallas Wilson says schools are still pursuing him ‘like crazy’. Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and Miami are some of those schools, per Simmons.

The 6-foot-3 and 200-pound Wilson is a natural receiver in space, uses his hands to fend off bump-and-run coverage, and wins the vast majority of 50-50 balls. He is currently committed to Oregon but is showing up different campuses to check out schools in Dixie.

Next up for Auburn will be getting Wilson on campus for an unofficial visit and hopefully an official visit as well. He is the #18 player in the nation by On3, and will be coveted by schools across the land until he signs his letter of intent. Wilson plays for Tampa (Fla.) Tech.
