An Addison man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Winston County.
Alabama state troopers identified the fatality victim as William D. Butler. He was 62.
The wreck happened at 8 p.m. Tuesday on Winston County 80 near Winston County 39. That location is about four miles north of Addison, said Senior Trooper Cody Farrar.
Authorities said Butler was driving a Toyota Tacoma that left the road and hit a tree. He was not using a seat belt at the time, Farrar said, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
