PHOTOS: Car overturned in crash, DC roads closed for response

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A multi-vehicle crash in Northwest D.C. overturned one car, trapping somebody inside Tuesday afternoon.

DC Fire and EMS said four vehicles, including a dump truck, were involved in a crash in the 4400 block of Nebraska Ave.

One person was stuck in their car and had to be rescued. They were taken to the hospital for treatment. Two other people were evaluated and refused medical treatment.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said the 4400 to 4500 blocks of Nebraska Ave., Wisconsin Ave. and Brandywine St. were closed because of the crash. Drivers were asked to find an alternate route.

An MPD crane was heading to the scene to help relocate the cars in the crash.
