Miami drivers get reprieve as gas prices fall more than 10 cents in a week

After weeks of increasing prices, drivers in the Miami area will get some relieve at the pump, with the average price of a gallon of regular gas now at $3.52, after falling 10.2 cents over the last week.

The $3.52 per gallon is 3.5 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 4.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, this according to a survey by the gas price tracking website and app GasBuddy.

According to GasBuddy, the cheapest station in Miami was priced at $2.79 per gallon Sunday while the most expensive was $4.99 per gallon, higher than on Key Biscayne, where both gas stations on Crandon Blvd. and Harbor Dr. remained at $4.49 per gallon.

Nationally, the average price of gasoline rose 6.5 cents per gallon to averaging $3.57 per gallon.
