LUBBOCK, Texas — On Monday, Visit Lubbock announced it will become a member of Texas Craft Brewers Guild’s ‘Brew City, Texas’ program, highlighting how the city has become a hub for local beer enthusiasts and tourists alike.

Local breweries The Brewery LBK and Good Line Beer Co. have recently been nationally recognized, bringing well-deserved attention to Lubbock’s up-and-coming brew culture, according to a press release.

Other notable Lubbock breweries include Two Docs Brewing Co., The Brewery LBK, Frost Brewhouse, Triple J Chophouse & Brew Company, Mano Negra Brewing Co., Good Line Beer Co. and The Plains Brew Co. 

The press release said that craft beer contributes a staggering $4.5 billion annually to the Texas economy—the third most of any state—and supports more than 30,000 jobs.

Visit Lubbock, through collaborative efforts with the Brew City, Texas program, said it looks forward to continuing to raise the bar for craft beer excellence in the Hub City.
