Final storms roll through Dallas County on Wednesday. When’s the next chance for rain?

A drier, warmer period of weather should last at least a few days.

Update:
Updated 3:44 p.m.: Revised to include the flash flood warning in Dallas County expired.

A storm system that’s poured more than 5 inches of rain across parts of North Texas will bring one last day of wet weather Wednesday.

The threat of severe weather in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is low, but heavy rain is possible earlier in the day, forecasts show.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth issued a flash flood warning from about 1:30 to 3 p.m. for Dallas County and a northeastern portion of Ellis County after thunderstorms produced between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain.
