HONOLULU (KHON2) — Hawaiian Telcom crews are addressing a leaning telephone pole on the North Shore that caused a temporary full closure of Kamehameha Highway.
The Department of Transportation said drivers should expect traffic delays near Shark’s Cove for crews to address the incident.
Officials said traffic will be contraflowed through the Shark’s Cove parking lot.
According to the DOT’s social media, all lanes are expected to open at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
Officials also said, “roadwork will continue for the next couple of days, closing the makai lane and using the mauka lane as a contraflow.”
