LeBron James' Strong Statement on Steph Curry

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Lakers

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in a big game on Tuesday night, and it was a collective effort from their entire team to get the job done. Superstar point guard Steph Curry finished with 23 points on a perfect 6/6 from deep, and as is often the case with Golden State's offense, it was his gravity that helped open up opportunities for his teammates.

This dynamic is something LeBron James spoke about in a recent episode of his Mind The Game podcast. Speaking on Curry and the Warriors, James said, "The ball is not the problem with Steph Curry. He's the f--king problem. Steph is most dangerous when he doesn't have the ball. It's not many guys in our league that's most dangerous without the ball... Guarding Steph is uncomfortable."

As James detailed, Curry's off-ball movement is something that makes Golden State incredibly difficult to defend. Not only does this create opportunities for Curry, but it also creates opportunities for his teammates.

While Golden State's production outside of Curry this season has been inconsistent, they got some great performances on Tuesday night, including from Draymond Green who made his first five threes. This was a huge win for the Warriors, as they opened up a clear path to finishing 9th or better in the Western Conference standings.
