1 dead in South Union Ave crash

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man is dead following a crash Monday morning on South Union Avenue.

The crash was reported at around 11:10 a.m. on South Union Avenue just north of Lamb Avenue. A driver lost control of their vehicle rolled over and crashed into a fence, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Tomas Martinez.

Video from the scene showed a vehicle split in two. The cause of the crash was not immediately known and is under investigation, Martinez said.
