How to Access Delta's In-flight Entertainment

To stream Delta Studio content, all you need to do is turn on the seatback screen in front of you. A majority of Delta airplanes currently have traditional entertainment systems, though not all. But it's close. As reps for Delta explained in March 2024, the airline has more than 161,000 seatback screens available across its more than 850 aircraft. And it's not just any seatback screen system. Delta has launched the exclusive Delta Sync, allowing passengers to customize their in-flight entertainment experience via the Fly Delta app.

"Customers are loving our new personalized Delta Sync seatback screens — and they especially appreciate how easy it is to log in to the screen using the Fly Delta app," Ranjan Goswami, senior vice president of customer experience design, shared in a statement. "Just by being a SkyMiles member, customers can log in to a seatback screen that recognizes them, knows their preferences and helps effortlessly guide them throughout their travel day. This level of personalization and convenience is one way we're redefining loyalty and what it means to be a SkyMiles member – and it unlocks the minute you join."

Screens are currently available on all Airbus A321ceo and Boeing 757-200 (75D) aircraft, and Delta plans to bring new seatback screens to its Airbus A319s and A320s and its Boeing 737-800 aircraft by the end of summer 2024.

All the Entertainment Available on Delta Studio

Delta Studio lets travelers choose from up to 300 movies and options from HBO, Showtime, SpyKids TV, and 18 channels of live satellite television. There are also podcasts, TED Talks, trivia, games, and thousands of songs available.

How to Stream From a Personal Device

Delta no longer offers Delta Studio on personal devices. However, its improved Wi-Fi allows users to stream shows from individual devices. The airline is also committed to making Wi-Fi free for everyone across its global fleet. The airline expects almost all its domestic narrowbody aircraft to have Delta Sync Wi-Fi by the end of 2024. Plus, streaming-capable connectivity will soon be available across Delta's fleet of regional jets and on its Boeing 717 fleet in the coming years.

To access the Wi-Fi, all users need to do is open their phone or device, turn on airplane mode and turn on Wi-Fi, and select the DeltaWiFi.com network. If it does not open, travelers can go directly to DeltaWiFi.com to connect.
