Fire crews were battling flames at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
Just before 7 p.m., the Oklahoma City Fire Department was called to the area of Northwest 16th Street and North Rockwell Avenue. Fire officials said the flames began in a lower unit before making their way up to an upper unit and the attic.
Several units were damaged, and the roof partially collapsed.
One person was injured, but they are expected to be OK, according to Oklahoma City fire. There were no real evacuations at the complex due to many units being under renovation.
Heavy black smoke was also seen coming from the apartment complex.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
