WEST MIDDLESEX — Ethen Knox, Keegan Kirkwood and Sayyid Donald each claimed an event to lead the Oil City boys and girls track and field teams on Saturday at the Big Red Invitational.

Knox finished first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.60, Kirkwood outlasted the field to capture the 800 run with a time of 2:09.58 while Donald topped the field in the triple jump after a leap of 39-10.50.

CORRY — Payton McCray tossed a two-hit shutout while Kaycee Porter cracked a run-scoring triple as Corry completed a season sweep of visiting Franklin with a 5-0 victory over the Knights on Saturday in Region 4 girls softball action.
