Prince Andrew joined other members of the royal family at Easter Sunday services in Windsor today.

He was seen arriving alongside his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, and his siblings Princess Anne and Prince Edward and their spouses, Sir Timothy Laurence and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, respectively. It was a smaller group of royals at church today, as King Charles—who is undergoing cancer treatment—was in attendance, and he needs to avoid larger crowds.

The Duke of York, who stepped down as a senior working royal in 2019, has been absent from major royal events in the years since. However, Prince Andrew was notably among those who attended a memorial service for the former King Constantine at St George's Chapel in late February.

In 2023, he made just four public appearances with the royal family: he joined them at Sandringham on Christmas, went to King Charles and Queen Camilla's Coronation (and the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle), and he also attended Easter Sunday services. Last year, his attendance at Easter—walking right behind his brother, and next to his sister, Princess Anne—demonstrated that the new King would not be cutting Andrew out of family events.

Prince Andrew's exit from royal life will be back in the news shortly, with the forthcoming premiere of Scoop on Netflix this week. The film, which stars Rufus Sewell as Andrew, recreates his infamous 2019 interview with BBC Newsnight that led to him no longer being a senior working royal; it's based on Sam McAlister's book, Scoops, which details how the BBC secured the interview. The film also stars Gillian Anderson as Emily Maitlis, Billie Piper as Sam McAlister, and Keely Hawes as Amanda Thirsk.
