LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville woman is behind bars after police said she rounded up a gang and kidnapped her ex-boyfriend.Â
Melissa Speed, 31, lured the victim, Eric Harris, to his front door. According to police, that's when another person chased him off, and Speed walked into the house and told Harris' girlfriend, "you'll never see Eric again."
According to the arrest report, the other people grabbed Harris, threw him into a car, stabbed him and drove to another location.
Police said Speed and the others tied Harris to a chair, taking turns "assaulting the victim with a sharp object and a metal baseball bat."
The arrest report said they dropped Harris at a random intersection, and he ran to a gas station to call for help. Police said Harris was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Speed is charged with burglary, kidnapping and assault.Â
