  • MVG launches stinging attack on Littler

Michael van Gerwen launched a shock attack on Luke Littler after his Premier League Darts win.

With all due respect, he hasn’t won anything yet. If people haven’t won anything yet, should they be getting into Forbes.

He played c**p tonight and I beat him, that’s the reality.

I’m happy with the win, and we move onto the next one.

  • Luke Littler throwing arrows

Darts superstar and massive football fan Luke Littler has slammed the Fifa trait that he dislikes the most.

When he's not busy competing, Littler loves to chill out by playing EA FC 24 and has tried his hand at playing online but is unhappy with how people act on Pro Clubs.

The mode enables gamers to control one player during an online match, teaming up with other people around the world.

Littler, however, feels that people are too selfish and took to social media to fume about players' greed.

The Nuke wrote on his Instagram story: "Pro clubs drop is the worst ever. Why does no one pass the ball?"

  • Luk away now

Luke Littler and Michael van Gerwen were slammed for being "poor" on live TV by Wayne Mardle during their Premier League final.

Littler, 17, was going for his third consecutive win to cement his place at the top of the leaderbord but it was not meant to be though as he lost the match 6-3.

You will seldom see these two play this poor.

This feels so difficult for both players.

  • Like father, like son

Darts ace Joshua Richardson is following in the footsteps of his father, James.

Myself and Josh were honoured to put the England shirt on.

It was the first time for me and the second time for Josh but the first time a father-and-son have played in the same team for England.

The team spirit within the team was like nothing I’ve experienced before.

Everyone was getting behind every player and it was great to see a clean sweep for the country.

  • Littler enjoys trip with girlfriend

Luke Littler and his girlfriend, Eloise, enjoyed a trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach this weekend.

The couple posted their visit on their Instagram and declared they had been "soaked" on the log ride.

In the joint post, Eloise wrote: "Wasn’t lying when they say you get soaked on Valhalla."

But the couple were all smiles as they posed for a sweet selfie.

  • MVG surprise

Wayne Mardle admits he was surprised by Michael van Gerwen winning Premier League Darts 11.

But he appears even more shocked that losing finalist Luke Litter played so poorly.

MVG beat overall leader Littler 6-3 in a below-par final at Birmingham.

And Sky Sports pundit Mardle – an ex-Prem star – said: "If I’m honest, I didn’t think Michael would win that final.

"But who could have foreseen Luke Littler playing that poorly?

"For Michael van Gerwen it’s been a real hard graft all night. But, he gets number four won and what an achievement."

  • Van Gerwen lays down the law

Michael van Gerwen has insisted Luke Littler needs to be chasing him, despite trailing in the Premier League table to the teen sensation.

MVG was asked about having to chase Littler down, who stormed to the top following two successive wins.

"I don't have to chase anyone. He has to chase me still," the Dutch star replied.

"I'm about 150 tournaments in front of him, so good luck to him."
