Spring Stock 2023 Miller

The 2024–25 Miller Auditorium Zhang Broadway in West Michigan Series is bringing a plethora of award-winning Broadway shows to the Miller stage. 

Kicking off the season, the Tony and Grammy award-winning broadway show, “Dear Evan Hansen,” will hit the Miller stage on Nov. 14 and 15, 2024. “Dear Evan Hansen” follows the story of Evan Hansen, a high school senior who stumbles onto a journey of self discovery, after a letter he wrote falls into the hands of a couple grieving their lost son. 

To ring in the Christmas season, “Mannheim Steamroller Christmas” will be presenting Christmas tunes in the distinctive Mannheim style. 

“The program includes dazzling multimedia effects performed in an intimate setting,” the event page read. “Experience the magic as the spirit of the season comes alive with the signature sound of Mannheim Steamroller.” 

“Mannheim Steamroller Christmas” is a one-night-only event, occuring on Dec. 11, 2024. 

In January, the hit-broadway musical, “The Lion King,” inspired by the award winning Disney movie, will use puppets and masks to communicate its storytelling. “The Lion King” will run from Jan. 29 to Feb. 9, 2025. 

April will bring the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice to the Miller stage, in “Hadestown.” This Tony and Grammy Best Musical award winner highlights the power of love and sacrifice, and how they can bring people together, according to the event page. Hadestown will run April 1 and 2, 2025.

Renewed and remastered for the Broadway stage, “Riverdance” will take the stage on April 29, 2025. 

“A powerful and stirring reinvention of this beloved favorite, celebrated the world over for its Grammy award-winning score and the thrilling energy and passion of its Irish and international dance,” the event page read. “Immerse yourself in the extraordinary power and grace of its music and dance—beloved by fans of all ages.”

Rounding out the 2024-2025 Miller Broadway season is, “Ain’t Too Proud—The Life and Times of The Temptations.” This 2017 “jukebox musical” tells the story of the legendary Detroit-based quintet that Billboard Magazine named the greatest R&B group of all time. “Ain’t Too Proud” will run from May 13 to May 15, 2025.
