The world of rap beef has once again been set ablaze, this time with J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar at the center of the storm. Fans have been eagerly awaiting a response from J. Cole after the Compton rapper took aim at him and Drake on “Like That.”
As we previously reported, Cole dropped a surprise album “Might Delete Later” and seemingly fired shots right back, setting social media on fire. While fans are currently having a field day with the latest rap beef, there’s one person who wants absolutely nothing to do with it.
Legendary singer Dionne Warwick who has been crowned the voice of reason on Twitter found herself caught in the middle of the feud when a fan reached out to her on Twitter, asking her to intervene and bring peace between the two rappers. In her typical fashion, Warwick replied to the fan, “No. I will continue to mind my business.”

Fans couldn’t get enough of Warwick’s hilarious response, with many praising her for bringing some much-needed levity to the tense situation.

Might Delete Later arrived just two weeks after Kendrick Lamar took aim at Drake and J. Cole on “Like That.”
Lamar’s cameo on “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin Lamar initially took issue with J. Cole’s bars that put them in the same tier of success: “Love when they argue the hardest MC / Is it K. Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me? / We the big three, like we started a league.” He continued, “Yeah get up with me, fuck sneak dissing / ‘First Person Shooter,’ I hope they came with three switches,” he sneered. “Motherfuck the big three, n—a, it’s just big me.”
Cole eventually addressed Lamar on the new album’s song titled, “7 Minute Drill.” On the track he raps, “I came up in the ’Ville, so I’m good when it’s tension/He still doin’ shows, but fell off like The Simpsons. Your first shit was classic, your last shit was tragic / Your second shit put n—s to sleep but they gassed it / Your third shit was massive and that was your prime / I was trailing right behind and I just now hit mine.”
As the feud between J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar continues to unfold, one thing is for certain: Dionne Warwick wants no parts.
