Elaine Crombie is joining the Aboriginal Comedy Allstars line-up alongside Janty Blair, Sean Choolburra, Kevin Kropinyeri, Andy Saunders and Jay Wymarra.

Elaine Crombie is a powerhouse performer.

Whether you know her from her theatre work like Barbara and the Camp Dogs, and 7 Stages of Grieving, from tv shows like 8MMM and Kiki and Kitty, or from her one-woman cabaret Janet’s Vagrant Love, there’s no denying Elaine can tell a story and hold a room.

Now, she’s putting those skills to new use in stand-up comedy.

Elaine shares what’s drawn her to stand-up, and how the Aboriginal Comedy Allstars are teaching her to pay-it-forward.

The Aboriginal Comedy Allstars will play Melbourne International Comedy Festival on 13 -14 April at The Capitol. Find tickets and info here.

You can also catch them in Brisbane from 2 - 5 May at the Brisbane Powerhouse. Learn more or buy tickets here
