Las Vegas police investigating armed carjacking, suspect in custody

Las Vegas (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating an armed carjacking.

It was reported around 8:18 a.m. in the 4000 block of Baldwin Street, near Nellis Boulevard and Flamingo Road.

The vehicle was located in the 300 block of Golden Glow Court in Henderson.

One subject has been located and is in custody.

The schools in the area are on a soft lockdown as police continue to look for outstanding suspects.
