LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police arrested the driver involved in a crash that killed two passengers in south Lincoln on Sunday.

Police said 34-year-old Grabiel Prado Revilla has been released from the hospital and taken to the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of two counts of manslaughter.

The passengers who died in the crash were identified as 23-year-old Omar Rios and 21-year-old Darien Rosales, both of Lincoln.

On Sunday, Lincoln Police officers were called to South 28th Street and Pine Lake Road just before 5:45 a.m. for a single-vehicle crash involving three men.

LPD said the preliminary investigation determined a Honda Pilot was speeding west on Pine Lake Road. It left the north side of the road, rolled and hit a tree, ejecting one of the passengers who died at the scene. The other passenger also died at the scene.

LPD said alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor in the crash.

LPD is asking any witnesses who saw the crash or have video of the incident to contact police at 402-441-6000. If you want to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
