Beautiful weather in Portland continues Sunday

Ladds 500 2024

An incalculable number of Portland cycling fans packed Southeast Portland’s Ladd Circle Park Saturday, April 13, 2024, to ride around in circles hundreds and hundreds of times for hours on end. The bizarre event, called Ladds 500 and organized by David Barstow Robinson, was cheered on as a “Let’s do something stupid,” event. Mark Graves/The Oregonian

Saturday’s glorious weather in the Portland area will continue Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunny skies and a high temperature of 68 degrees are in store for Portland on the last day of the weekend.

On Monday and Tuesday, however, a chance of rain showers is in the forecast, and temperatures are expected to dip into the high 50s.

Fear not. Sunshine is expected to return as early as Wednesday, according to the weather service. And it’s expected to stick around through Friday, with temperatures all three days in the upper 60s or low 70s.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Showers may return Saturday.
