HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — An 87-year-old man is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly shooting at a woman inside a Houma home on Friday, April 12.
The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office reported deputies responded to a call of a shooting at a home in the 100 block of Mona Kay Lane, where a woman inside the home told deputies she was being shot at.
TPSO officials said when deputies arrived at the home, they identified Arnold Hunt as the suspect.
Hunt was then taken into custody.
According to the TPSO, deputies “learned from the victim that Hunt armed himself with a firearm, after threatening her, inside the home.”
They said Hunt allegedly fired at least four shots inside the home.
Hunt faces a charge of attempted second-degree murder.
