Tuscaloosa County HS teacher charged with having sexual relationship with student

TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — A Tuscaloosa County High School teacher was arrested after an investigation regarding a report of sexual relationship with a student.

The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office said 25-year-old Lorenza Freeman Jr. was charged with one count of 'School Employee Having Sexual Contact with a Student under the age of 19.'

The sheriff's office said Freeman was taken the county jail where he was being held on a $30,000 bond.
