Meanwhile another suspect in the case, 19-year-old Acacia Jackson of New York, has already pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit kidnapping in the case, according to the Department of Justice. She also faces up to a maximum of life prison.

The five were all arrested after Ty’osha Mitchell was found dead on Old Williamsburg Road in York County on May 6, 2023.

Prosecutors say Mitchell was shot eight times, and numerous shell casings with an “S&B” headstamp were found at the scene.

The next day, prosecutors say shell casings with those same markings were found in a 9mm cartridge recovered during a traffic stop of the suspects’ vehicle in Norfolk. Jackson, Goodman, and Langley were all in the vehicle at the time, according to police.

Authorities say the suspects were connected to Norfolk’s Mad Stone Bloods and the national Almighty Black P. Stone Nation, and Mitchell was killed after she tried to sever her gang ties.

The news of the indictments comes just months after charges were withdrawn by local authorities to make way for the federal investigation.
