We take a look at the dates and times for the upcoming Laver Cup 2022, which will be the last tournament that the Swiss tennis legend plays in as he prepares to say goodbye to the game.

Roger Federer to play with ‘Big 4′ in last tournament

On Friday, September 23rd, the 2022 Laver Cup will begin at the O2 Arena in London and as we all now know, it will mark Roger Federer’s last appearance in competitive tennis. Having recently confirmed that he will be retiring after the tournament, the legendary Swiss ace will certainly have all eyes on him as he battles it out for Team Europe. Interestingly, Federer won’t be the only star participating as Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray have also confirmed their participation. That’s to say, the ‘Big 4′ will all be playing on the same team when they take on Team World in what promises to be a densely packed weekend of elite tennis.

When are Federer, Djokovic and Nadal playing?

Though pairings and matchups have yet to be confirmed, we can give you the dates and times of all matches on the slate. Be sure to check with us again as we continue to update you on who, when and where. With that said, here’s a look at the teams and format for a tennis filled weekend:

Former world No. 1 and winner of 68 titles, Bjorn Borg is set to be the captain of Team Europe 2022, with Thomas Enqvist as vice-captain. On the other side of the divide, we’ve got American legend John McEnroe as captain of Team World and Patrick McEnroe as his deputy. As for the teams themselves, Team Europe will see the likes of Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Casper Ruud and Matteo Berrettini (alternate) all playing together. Where Team World is concerned, fans can look forward to seeing Taylor Fritz, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Diego Schwartzman, Frances Tiafoe, Alex de Minaur, Jack Sock and Tommy Paul (alternate). As mentioned above, the pairings and official slate of matches has not been confirmed, but you can certainly take a look below to see when matches will be played:
