Man fatally shot in the head in Mt. Healthy apartment identified

MT. HEALTHY, Ohio (WKRC) - Police are investigating after a man was found shot in a Mt. Healthy apartment. The shooting is now a homicide.

Emergency crews were called to the apartment building on Clovernook at about 10 a.m.

A caller to 911 said she heard a gunshot in an abandoned apartment, opened the door and saw the man injured on the floor. She said it looked like he'd been shot in the head.

Police say he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. On Monday, the coroner's office identified him as Willie Lindsey, 53.

No word if police have a suspect.
