KAREN, THANKS SO MUCH AND HIGH WATERS THE STORY TWO TONIGHT. THERE ARE A LOT OF PHOTOS AND VIDEOS COMING IN RIGHT NEAR THE PRECINCT RESTAURANT OFF OF DELTA. WE SEE A WHOLE CORNER THERE UNDERWATER NEAR THE CHURCH. WE SEE COLUMBIA-TUSCULUM. SEVERAL CARS ARE UNDERWATER. I’M GETTING VIDEO FROM OAKLEY AS WELL, SO WE’VE GOT REPORTERS OUT GATHERING ALL OF THAT, AND WE’LL GET YOU ALL THE UPDATES TONIGHT AT 11 ONE LAST TIME UNTIL THINGS CLEAR FOR SURE. KEVIN ROBINSON OVER IN THE WEATHER CENTER. WHAT’S THE LATEST, KEV? WELL, MIKE, WE’VE GOT ABOUT TWO MORE MINUTES LEFT ON THIS TORNADO WARNING IN ADAMS COUNTY. REALLY QUICK JUST TO RESET WHAT’S HAPPENING OUT THERE BEFORE WE GET READY TO GET YOU BACK TO REGULAR SCHEDULED PROGRAMING. AS THE SEVERE THREAT BEGINS TO WIND DOWN OVERALL, SOUTHEAST INDIANA, YOU’RE IN THE CLEAR. 7175 CORRIDOR. FOR THE MOST PART, YOU ARE NOW IN THE CLEAR. ALL THE STORMS HAVE SHIFTED OFF TOWARDS THE EAST. WE’VE GOT TWO WARNINGS STILL IN EFFECT RIGHT NOW ADAMS COUNTY AND THEN THE EXTREME NORTHEASTERN MASON COUNTY WAS, BUT IT’S BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPIRE THERE. SO WE’VE GOT SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR ADAMS COUNTY IS WHAT WE’RE DEALING WITH AT THE MOMENT. I DON’T WANT TO FORGET, EVEN THOUGH YOU’RE NOT UNDER A WARNING, THOSE OF YOU DOWN THERE IN ROBERTSON COUNTY, TWO YOU’VE STILL GOT A LITTLE ROUGH WEATHER TO COME THROUGH THAT AREA. BUT RIGHT NOW, THIS IS WHAT WE’RE WATCHING. LOOK AT THIS. I MENTIONED THE FACT THAT THERE STILL WOULD BE VERY STRONG WINDS. AND WE’VE SEEN WHAT THOSE WINDS CAN DO TODAY. OKAY. SO I WOULD NOT AT ALL BE SURPRISED. IN ADDITION TO THE TORNADO WARNING WITH THE CONFIRMED TORNADO HERE IN RURAL PARTS OF ADAMS COUNTY ABOUT TO SCOOT EAST, LOOK HOW THIS IS BOWLED OUT. AND SURGED TO THE SOUTH OF WEST UNION. YOU OFTENTIMES WILL HEAR US CALL IT SOMEWHAT OF A BACKWARDS C SHAPE TO THAT. THAT MEANS THERE ARE VERY STRONG WINDS THAT HAVE PUNCHED IN AND THOSE WINDS ARE LIKELY BEING TRANSFERRED TO THE GROUND. I WOULD NOT AT ALL BE SURPRISED IF WE DON’T HAVE ENOUGH WIND ENERGY HERE FOR POWER OUTAGES AND TREES DOWN AND SOUTHEASTERN ADAMS COUNTY. LOOK AT THAT. WE’RE PROBABLY TALKING CLOSE TO 5060 MILE AN HOUR WINDS. I WOULD SUSPECT, IN THAT LINE THERE ALONG 125. SO AGAIN, IT’S NOT JUST THE TORNADO THREAT, BUT ALSO A DAMAGING WIND THREAT AS WELL. IN THIS AREA JUST SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST. NOW WEST UNION. SO VERY STRONG WINDS ARE LIKELY TO BE COMING UP ALONG 125 FOR THE REST OF YOU AND ADAMS COUNTY. SO THAT’S WHERE WE’RE TALKING ABOUT THERE’S A LOOK AT THE TORNADO. LOOK AT THAT SIGNATURE. STILL ON RADAR NOW, THIS TORNADO LIKELY TO CONTINUE INTO NEIGHBORING AREAS AS IT HEADS EAST. THERE IS STILL A DECENT CIRCULATION ON THAT STORM, EVEN AS IT PREPARES TO EXIT OUT OF ADAMS COUNTY. SO YOU’VE GOT THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING STILL IN EFFECT FOR ADAMS COUNTY. THE TORNADO WARNING GOES UNTIL EXACTLY WHAT TIME ALLISON, WHAT TIME IS THAT TORNADO WARNING? GO UNTIL THE TORNADO WARNING. ACTUALLY. JUST EXPIRED. OKAY. AND THAT’S WHY. BECAUSE AS YOU CAN SEE HERE, IT’S RIGHT ON THE VERY EDGE. IT’S JUST ABOUT OUT OF ADAMS COUNTY HERE, OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF MINUTES. I DO WANT TO GO DOWN ALLISON INTO ROBERTSON COUNTY AND OUR FAR SOUTHEAST BECAUSE BECAUSE IT’S MOUNT OLIVET, OBVIOUSLY IN OUR VIEWING AREA. AND YOU GUYS HAVE YET TO SEE NASTY WEATHER, BUT IT IS ON TOP OF YOU TOO. AND I WOULD NOT AT ALL BE SURPRISED IN THIS AREA IF YOU’RE GETTING SOME VERY STRONG WINDS CLOSE TO SEVERE WIND SPEEDS AS WELL. SO IF YOU’RE DOWN HERE IN ROBERTSON COUNTY, MOUNT OLIVET, 50 MILE AN HOUR WINDS A GOOD BET, PROBABLY SOME STRONG WINDS. THERE’S A 54, SO I WOULDN’T BE SURPRISED IF YOU GET CLOSE TO SEVERE THRESHOLD IN ROBERTSON COUNTY. FORTUNATELY, NOTHING TORNADIC, BUT CERTAINLY THE POTENTIAL FOR STRONG WINDS DOWN HERE TOO. SO THAT’S WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE MOMENT. STRONG WINDS MOVING THROUGH ROBERTSON COUNTY, STRONG WINDS MOVING THROUGH ADAMS COUNTY. BUT SO FAR, ALL OF OUR TORNADO WARNINGS HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPIRE. IT’S BEEN A
