Galactic travelers, get ready to embark on a Star Wars extravaganza at Disneyland’s Season of the Force!
Disneyland’s Season of the Force is a celebration of all things Star Wars, transforming the park into an interstellar playground. Experience themed attractions, like the new storylines on Star Tours and a Star Wars overlay for Space Mountain. Nighttime in Galaxy’s Edge becomes even more magical with unique experiences. Plus, exclusive merchandise and themed culinary delights await, offering a full day of play for fans and newcomers to the iconic Star Wars universe.
We’ve assembled your definitive guide to navigating the galaxy far, far away, right in the heart of Disneyland, from April 5th through June 2nd, 2024.
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
Prepare for lift-off with over 250 story variations on Star Tours, featuring new adventures from “Ahsoka,” “Andor,” and “The Mandalorian” from Disney+. Encounter characters like Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, Din Djarin, and Grogu. You never know where the Force might take you, which is part of what makes Star Tours so repeatable!
We were on the first Star Speeder of the new destinations this morning and loved the new destinations. While there are various new scenes, we intercepted a message from the Mandalorian and Grogu which delighted the cabin with its humor and whimsy. From there we encountered a scene inspired by Ahsoka. We have a very short clip to show you the high quality of the new scenes:
We have more information for you about the new Star Tours destinations in the link below:
Hyperspace Mountain
Blast off into the cosmos on Hyperspace Mountain. This exhilarating version of Space Mountain zooms you through a galactic battle, complete with special effects and the adrenaline-pumping soundtrack of Star Wars. This is controversial, but Hyperspace is my favorite version of Space Mountain!
Fire of the Rising Moons
Witness the skies of Batuu light up with “Fire of the Rising Moons,” a Star Wars-themed overlay to Disneyland’s fireworks. When viewed from Galaxy’s Edge, the fireworks will be accompanied by John Williams’ legendary score. The best views are from Black Spire Spaceport, TIE Echelon, and speeder garage.
Season of the Force Merchandise and Culinary Delights
Immerse yourself in the Star Wars universe with themed merchandise and culinary creations. And don’t miss the Star Wars-inspired cuisine at Docking Bay 7, Galactic Grill, Oga’s Cantina, and beyond.
There are so many options that we created a guide to the Star Wars eats and treats… including drinks from the Star Wars Starcruiser which is now closed for good at Walt Disney World.
Disneyland’s Season of the Force Eats & Treats Include Galactic Starcruiser Sips
There’s exclusive merchandise as well, from apparel to collectible novelties like the Salvaged Stormtrooper Helmet Bucket, there’s something for every Star Wars fan.
Check out the bounty of Season of the Force’s merchandise and novelties for yourself in our guide:

Photographic Memories
Capture your adventure with Star Wars Magic Shots and themed Disney PhotoPass Lenses, included with Disney Genie+ service. Pose with Boba Fett, Grogu, and more.
Grand Californian Hotel’s Season of the Force Creation
Behold another culinary masterpiece at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The Millennium Falcon comes to life in an edible form, crafted with hundreds of pounds of sugar, chocolate, and more. It’s a feast for the eyes!
Galaxy’s Edge Experiences
New during Season of the Force, adorable BD-X droids will be wandering Galaxy’s Edge daily. The autominous droids have amazing balance and a tremendous amount of personality.
Here’s a video of their very first appearance for Season of the Force:
Sabine Wren, a character from the Disney+ series Ahsoka is also making daily appearances for Season of the Force. We met her this morning. She’s charming and interacts with guests.
Cylinder Hunt
There are 6 small cylinders hidden throughout Galaxy’s Edge. Find them, then go to Tomorrowland to decode their messages. If you get it all right, you get a special prize. The game is free to play, unlike the egg hunt.
There are clues on the card as to where the cylinders are hiding, but they can still be tough to spot. Do you see the Cylinder below?
There it is…
The prize is a collectable decoder card.
Beyond the Season of the Force, Galaxy’s Edge is a treasure trove of experiences. Build your own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop, assemble a droid at the Droid Depot, or relax with out-of-this-world drinks at Oga’s Cantina (reservations required but virtual wait list spots are sometimes available).
