Max Williams started the scoring with an RBI single in the third inning and put FSU ahead for good with a two-run homer in the seventh, while Jamie Arnold went seven innings, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks with nine strikeouts. The Seminoles are 9-2 since being swept by Clemson and are coming off a season sweep ofthe rival Florida Gators.

Tonight's probable starters are Brady Louck (0-0, 1.54 ERA) for FSU and Rafe Schlesinger (2-2, 4.34 ERA) for Miami. The Seminoles are going with the freshman lefty because of injuries to Cam Leiter and Conner Whittaker.
