FSU baseball enters top 5 in national college baseball rankings

Florida State baseball continues to rise in the national rankings after sweeping the Miami Hurricanes over the weekend.

According to Baseball America, the Seminoles moved up to No.5, two spots higher from the last poll and only trailing No. 1 Texas A&M, Arkansas, Tennessee and Clemson.

FSU is one of the seven ACC teams ranked in the top 25, according to D1Baseball.

D1Baseball has FSU ranked at No. 8. The Perfect Game rankings have FSU at No. 6.

FSU improved to 30-5 (22-1) after sweeping the Hurricanes and beating Florida last Tuesday.

The Seminoles have won five straight games and are set to host Mercer on Tuesday, April 16, at 6 p.m. at Dick Howser Stadium.

The Seminoles travel to No. 12 Wake Forest for a three-game series with the Demon Deacons, Friday, April 19.
