WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - April is Stress Awareness Month. In a busy world, it’s hard for some people to manage stress. Others find the challenge in recognizing the signs of stress in themselves.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker Maggi Rocha with Behavioral Health Clinic joined NewsChannel 7 to discuss some tips on how you can better manage your stress.

Rocha said to practice breathing exercises like slowly counting down from 10 while breathing in between and added that some stress can be good for us to help us grow, we just need to know when to recognize when it’s too much.

You can find more stress management strategies on the CDC website.
