Gisele Bündchen Just Addressed Rumors That She Cheated on Tom Brady

Gisele Bündchen set the record straight about those Tom Brady cheating rumors with four simple words: “That is a lie." 

In a new interview with The New York Times that was published on Saturday, the supermodel denied that she was ever unfaithful to her ex-husband, whom she split from after 13 years of marriage in 2022. Following their divorce, Bündchen moved on to a new relationship with her jiu-jitsu trainer, Joaquim Valente, which prompted people to question the timeline of events, and, in turn, her fidelity to the NFL star. 

“This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful,” Bündchen continued. “They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”

She added, "No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”

During the interview, Bündchen also confirmed that she was dating Valente, telling the outlet: “This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first. It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”

Bündchen and Brady first met in 2006 after being set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. They got married three years later and welcomed their first child together, a son named Benjamin, followed by a daughter, Vivian, in 2012.
