“I wanted someone who is battle tested, able to withstand criticism and the controversy and all the defamations and slanders and perjuries that are thrown at anyone who embarks on a presidential campaign” said Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as he announced his vice presidential running mate. The 2024 independent presidential candidate selected California-based attorney Nicole Shanahan to serve as vice president on his independent presidential bid. Shanahan’s mother immigrated to the U.S. from China in 1983. Shanahan’s legal work focused on artificial intelligence. She also created her own foundation dealing with women’s reproductive health. close
