A motion was filed Monday for the man who was charged for the death of a Jefferson parish man in a bar fight in Baton Rouge to leave the state and work at his family ranch. Matthew Marsiglia, 21, asked the court for permission to leave the state to work as a ranch hand on a family farm in Magnolia, Mississippi, while he is suspended from LSU. Marsiglia was arrested and charged with manslaughter after a fight at a bar that led to the death of Devin Repath, 27.
